Wildfire Risk Reduction: Wardner TU1-A

November 21, 2024

Big things happening on the Wardner trail this fall/winter! 🍂 We’ll be removing smaller trees, clearing deadwood, and conducting on-site burning to improve safety and forest health above the lookout, focusing on TU 1-A (see map). 🗺

This project is similar to the work done on the Buchanan East Access trail and Jimi Crack Corn. Work is set to begin in the next week or two. Signs will be posted during operations, and while brief trail closures may occur if falling is required near the trail, the trail will remain open otherwise.
